My replacement cell phone arrived while I was in Boston. Today I activated it. Then I tried making a couple calls. Half went through, half had the same connection issue as before. Well, it's a new year and why not start it off by having my cell phone crap out on me? As of yesterday, I am unable to make or receive calls or texts on it. We called the company, they had me reset things, take out the battery, etc, all to no avail. So now they've filed a "trouble ticket", which I guess is going to be sent to the manufacturer. Apparently my service with them had run three days into the next billing cycle before I switched to Verizon. I was just on the phone with Scanlon, who's in France, when Christian happened to call from Mexico and ack, I had to quickly choose between two international calls from people I will rarely get to talk to this summer.
